Congrats to James and Lauren!

Lauren Lunsford married James Evans April 25, 2009 at the Beautiful Church of our Savoir located off Mandarin Road. If you have ever been on Mandarin Road you know how beautiful all the tall oak trees are and Mandarin is well known for them. Located just next to the church was a beautiful field with lots of trees and pretty greenery. I was driving home late Friday evening and while I was pumping gas I saw a cool, bright blue Parasol in the window and thought how cute! As I thought more about it the next morning while I was packing up my gear I thought how cute would it be to have the bridesmaids all holding their own. So, on my way to Mandarin I stopped and they only had one left! :( These things were hot that morning apparently because I was only able to buy the one left they had. I told Lauren to just have fun with it and she did! The bridemaids were helping her out but she really didn't need it. So then I thought I bet I could get James to do a few as well. He was a hoot! The groomsmen were alot of help with all their ideas as well. Then of course I photographed them together with it after the ceremony. I am excited to create a full page spread for their album. I will post it up here as well so everyone can see! Can you tell I was really excited about this Parasol? So, I met Lauren and James at Bre's wedding which I also photographed about three years ago. At that time Lauren and James had only been dating about 3 months. Lauren caught the bouquet and James caught the garter! It was totally meant to be and I am glad I was there to witness this grand event! Below are just a few faves!

Lee and Lindsay are MARRIED!!!

Lindsay Schuster and Lee Coughlin are now Mr. and Mrs. Lee Coughlin! On April 18, 2009 they tied the knot! Their wedding was at the gorgeous St. John's Cathedral Church located downtown. The reception was held at the Main Library downtown in the courtyard. They were a great couple to work with! I have known Lindsay for many years and it was great to be a part of her special day! Their beautiful cake was made by Angie's Cakes located on the southside. Not only was it beautiful but also the BEST cake I have ever had! Below are some of my favorites from the wedding day!

Bartrum Family Session

I did a double session out at Talbot that day and next to arrive was The Bartrums! They wore purple which I have never shot out at Talbot before and it rocked! Kyra wore a beautiful purple dress which blew in the wind! She totally blew any princess out of the water! Literally, she got in the water! It was like a practice round for her future "Trash the Dress" session! She sure did keep me on my toes the entire time! She was so fascinated by all the trees and little puddles of water and shells. It was definitely worth the work, she did an awesome job! Below are some of my favorites!

Sticking her tongue out at Chris!

Priceless!

Brady Family Session

Ivory Brady and I go way back! We originally went to x-ray school together and then on to Ultrasound School. We have known each other for 10 years! After school she moved up north to practice Ultrasound and just recently moved back to Jax! She is now an instructor at our school. We went out to Big Talbot Island for a Family shoot of her, her mom, her sister and her little man "TJ." At first TJ wanted nothing to do with the sand or photos. But when it was his turn to shoot by himself he was a hoot! I did not pose him- it was like he just knew what to do! Ivory has been taking him for photos alot so he was a natural! My favorites are the ones he is belly laughing in! Although I did not record his laugh I think you will be able to "hear" what I am talking about! Below are some of my favorites!

Maternity Session!

Jaclyn is pregnant with her first baby! "It's A Girl!" Jaclyn was a dream in front of the camera! Her eyes popped in every shot! Below are some of my favorites!

Smith Family Session

This is Georgette, Casey and Cannon. I photographed their wedding two years ago and little baby Cannon as a newborn. This is their first family shoot since Cannon was little bitty! He did a great job out there on the beach. The nats we getting bad when we got out there and I felt so bad for the little guy but he stuck it out and was a trooper! Until, we got to the naked pics on the cold sand! He was not really happy after that point until he was dressed again and in Daddy's arms! Below are some of my faves!

Grayson and Cam Easter Fun!

Grayson is a current member of my baby plan. We did his 9 month photos on Friday and he as always was a little ham! We also had Cam jump in for a few for pictures in their Easter outfits. He loved seeing his reflection in the mirror and was blowing spit bubbles at himself! He also was trying to eat the Easter grass in the basket and some of his facial expressions were priceless! Check them out below!
