Second Shooting!

I LOVE 2nd shooting. I help out a fellow photographer from time to time with weddings. I love the STRESS-FREE ability to shoot things from a new point of view. When I am the main photographer I am always if front of the subject. When I am 2nd shooting I can catch that emotion the bleeds from a bride and groom. I shot a wedding Saturday at the Winterborn Inn which is located just next door to the Club Continental. This was my first time shooting out there and I loved it! It was a small, intimate wedding at sunset. Below are a few shots from the wedding.

James and Lauren are getting Hitched!

I met Lauren when she was a bridesmaid in one of my first weddings I ever shot. During all the formal shots I clearly remember Lauren from the rest of the girls. She was always the one doing something crazy and making funny faces! She was hilarious! During the honorary bridal bouquet toss Lauren went sailing and landed the bouquet! The the groom threw the garter and low and behold James caught it! I later found out they had only been dating 3 months when all this took place. I remember thinking to myself, I would love to shoot Lauren's wedding. She is fun, easy going and has the best personality. About 5 months ago Lauren contacted me that her and James were getting married and asked if I would be their photographer. I thought weird huh? I am super excited to be shooting their wedding April 25, 2009. Lauren and James wanted to do something fun for their engagement session so we started at The Ritz out at Jax Beach and then moved to Atlantic Beach for some other great shots! They both wore bright colors which I LOVE!!! James actually had a wardrobe change while driving over the the second location. The beach was packed due to the amazing weather we had last weekend and everyone was staring. It did not bother Lauren or James and we just kept on truckin'. Two guys on the corner actually helped out by blocking the sun off of James' pants. It was a great time and the couple are so happily in love which makes my job a breeze. There are so many I wanted to post but there is not enough room. Below are my favorite 10! Let me know what you think!

Tim and Brooke Are Married!

On February 21, 2009 Tim and Brooke said "I DO" Like I stated in a prior blog this was also my 5 year anniversary! It was great to be a part of someones day which was just as special when we said "I DO" They were married at the Old St. Andrews Church. Following a beautiful ceremony the celebration continued at the Haskell Building. The first thing I noticed from across the room was their CAKE!! I love shooting the cake! Everyone has such different cakes and its always interesting to see what the bride and groom chose. Their cake was simple yet gorgeous. It was a white fondant cake with simple black bows made of fondant and some elegantly place roses on top. The bridal party was also a hoot! When I asked them to jump they jumped! When I asked them to scream, they screamed! We also did the famous Beatles Walk! Below are some of my faves!Cutie Ring Bearer
